Focus on resource-saving production

Not only our products rely on "oil-free"

Our oil-free compressors continue to help reduce global oil consumption daily. Dürr Technik has been producing some of its energy requirements by using photovoltaic systems since summer 2019. As a result, we have saved the equivalent of about 15,000 liters of oil or 110 tons of CO2 every year. We are  reducing oil consumption not only in the operation of our compressors, but now in our supply chain.

"We already generate a third of our energy requirement for production and test operation ourselves. This is good for the environment and economically interesting for us".

Andreas Scherer, Head of Development Dürr Technik

Dürr Technik presented itself for the second time with its own stand at the world's largest trade fair for the bus and mobility sector.
The highlight was the new, powerful E-Bull from the range of oil-free compressors.
The focus of busworld is reflected in Dürr Technik's new E-Bull product: sustainability and environmental compatibility in a robust and powerful design.

Busworld will take place for the 25th time in 2019 and is considered to be the oldest and most important bus exhibition.

Visit us at our stand in Hall 1, 133D in Brussels.

As a competent manufacturer of oil-free compressors, Dürr Technik will be represented at Busworld. The E-Bull, our powerful oil-free compressor for commercial vehicles and industry, will be presented as a highlight product. This compressor is characterized by its robust, compact design and is ideally suited for E-buses.

When Dürr Technik began to support the construction of a community school for orphans in Malawi in 2013, nobody could have guessed how positively the project would develop. With the construction of the school, many other aid projects were created to support the village of Ntaja, and even the entire region, with its inhabitants.

In addition to running the school, paying teachers and training them, Dürr Technik supports the Foundation for Farming Project (FFF). The agricultural project trains the smallest farmers in composting, crop rotation and soil management. For many, the conversion of their cultivation methods means that crop yields more than double within a few years and that they can earn their own living. More than 2,000 families from all over the region now benefit from this.

In addition, the donations go to young people with ideas to provide them with start-up financing to set up a small "start-up company". Thus honey productions, joineries, guesthouses or garages are created. A Crop Bank cooperative and self-help groups for women are also supported.

Sports and youth work is also not neglected. Every week, up to a hundred young people meet for training alongside school. There is a girls' netball team, an acrobatics team and, of course, a football team. Two weeks ago, two young soccer players were invited to the trial training of the U17 national team. One of them has meanwhile been accepted into the squad of the U17 national team.
